Hey there,
It seems like the Fire TV interface has been change quite a while back now (roughly over a year now) and the install instructions could use a bit of refresh to avoid user error while running the process.

For example:

  • FTV main menu is at the top section, not left.
  • What was previouslyt called "System" is not "My Fire TV".
  • The reference to "Search" has changed locations in the GUI
