Describe the request

  • Please support uninstalling an app from the App Framework. IE. when an app is removed from the s3 repository that is defined in the instance config the app will be uninstalled from the Splunk instance as well.

Expected behavior

  • When apps are uploaded to s3 the app is installed on Splunk (current process)
  • When apps are removed from s3 the app is uninstalled from Splunk (requested)

Splunk setup on K8S

  • NA

K8s environment

  • v1.22, AWS EKS, Standalone (testing)
