I am a teacher (freelance), a (semantic) Web developer and the CEO of BorderCloud. I develop tools to share the knowledge with the semantic Web and I share my new knowledges via my courses and via my company BorderCloud.

The research that I pursue in parallel with my mission relates to the difficulty of using Linked Data, ie., the difficulty of finding information in the mass of web data via the SPARQL protocol. Specifically, I am working on the assumption that intelligent agents or humans can use Linked Open Data without prior knowledge of either RDF schemas or available SPARQL services. To achieve this, barriers must be removed. New protocols, algorithms, and network infrastructures are needed to automatically find the sources of information that might be involved in the outcome of a query. It is obvious that in a dataspace such as Linked Open Data, a centralized solution does not make sense. Therefore, the goal I aim to achieve in the coming years is to collaborate in the construction of such a global, decentralized, interoperable, and reliable information system.
Unfortunately, there are no real business models for the Semantic Web because the open knowledge is not a profitable business. If you use softwares and data that I develop, think that this work comes at a cost and that a donation encourage me to continue my efforts to make the Semantic Web a reality.
