Hello, I’m Giulio, a software developer from Italy, currently living in The Netherlands. I’m passionate about learning new things and creating software that makes a difference.

One of my special interests is medieval manuscripts, and I have developed the Digitized Medieval Manuscripts Map (DMMmap), a project that maps and links digitized collections of medieval manuscripts from all over the world. This project aims to make these precious resources more accessible and discoverable for researchers, students, and anyone who loves medieval culture.

I also work at a University Library, where I develop and maintain software that supports the library’s mission and services. I enjoy working with librarians and scholars to create solutions that enhance their work and research.

I’m a strong believer in open source, and I share most of my code and projects on GitHub. I think open source is a great way to collaborate, learn, and contribute to the common good.

I’m seeking sponsorship because I want to continue working on my projects and create new ones that benefit the community.
