I am a freelancing software developer (that's right, you can hire me for your project). One of my primary areas of focus is building interactive 3D applications on the web. One thing that's currently missing on the web is a decent feature-complete, high-performance open-source CAD library, which is why I started working on OpenCascade.js several years ago.

My aim is to transform this project into a rock-solid world-class CAD library, that works natively on the web (i.e. Browser and Server) and in my favorite programming language JavaScript. I think this project can play an important role in enabling (mechanical) engineering companies to move more of their business to the web.
