• I wrote a program called cleanup which is distributed as donationware from github.

  • I put time and effort into this so you wouldn't have to. Please reward me for my labor.
  • If I wanted to charge money for this, do you, based on your use of it, think it would be successful?
  • How much do my competitors charge for programs and devices which do the same thing?
  • I choose not to make my software proprietary or require a payment upfront, both to enable adoption, and because software licenses are BS and nobody pays them any attention anyway.
  • You are honor-bound to provide some kind of compensation if you use the program. I would have put that in the license, but using custom licenses is frowned upon.
  • Realistically, I could charge $200 a copy and have a very successful business. As it stands, I would appreciate $20 per user, and $200 per installation for businesses and governments- and a pro-rated discount of $5 per concurrent user seat for installations accessible to others- which I think is more than fair.

• Cleanup is a speech denoising algorithm intended for AM, shortwave, and FM modes.

  • Cleanup works better than most methods when the noise is somewhat uniform.
  • Noise which is not uniform is interference. One might say interference is not really noise, it is unwanted signal.

• a sponsorship, as GitHub calls you giving me your money, is a form of a donation.

  • I really want your money. In fact, I could really use it- I live in poverty.
  • if I receive enough donations, I will make an AI to denoise shortwave even further.
  • other AI which already purport to do this, are not even as good as Cleanup. Imagine what I could deliver.
  • Your contributions will incentivize me to continue to perspire in the name of obstinance, and to do stuff.
  • I am willing to consider trying to port cleanup to javascript or webassembly also, for use with websdrs

I am also willing to "sell" the codebase, in addition to providing hours to developing a better AI as part of the package. my price is 5 million before taxes, or 2.5 million without taxes.
