I’m a WordPress technical content writer, Block Editor end-user doc rep, WP release co-lead & Noteworthy contributor for several releases. Previously, a seasoned web developer with over 7 years of experience building websites.

• After working on the web since 2007 as a developer, I am pursuing a career in technical writing and following my interest to write documentation for WordPress.
• Since 2021, I have been actively contributing to the WordPress documentation and marketing team.
• I was one of the Noteworthy Contributors to the 6.1, 6.0 and 5.8 releases.
• Currently, I am working as a WordPress Technical Writer. I am also the WP Block Editor End User Documentation Rep.

Since working with the WordPress Docs team, I have noticed many gaps in the WordPress documentation, especially the end-user docs. These are the projects I've worked on for the WP Docs team.

1. Doing triage of the Gutenberg PRs and creating trackers with a detailed task list and assigning priorities for the 6.1, 6.0, and 5.9 releases.
2. Work on the 6.1 end-user block editor documentation for the high-priority pages and have them ready for the release.
3. Working on updating and adding new pages to the end-user documentation for the 6.1, 6.0, and 5.9 WordPress releases.
4. Rewriting pages in the end-user docs to remove the technical details, move the technical bits to the developer documentation and rebuild the end-user docs (also called HelpHub).
5. Write meeting minutes for the Docs team meetings and publish them on the Make blog.

I understand Documentation is an area most overlooked. I would love to spend more time improving the WordPress documentation for the developers and the end-users and make the pages and information cohesive across the WordPress support articles.
