Industrial automation software has historically been cumbersome, expensive and controlled by large corporations. We want to contribute to an open source community that uses the latest technology to improve the landscape of industrial automation software. We want industrial automation system integrators to spend less time engineering around license costs and more time implementing flexible, secure, high performance systems.

Our latest contribution is the creation of a open source Ignition Perspective Framework, which contains pre-built styles and components for those who use Inductive Automation's Ignition Perspective Module. We hope it will become a repository for high quality templates that system integrators can use to get started with Perspective even faster.

We also maintain the GraphQL/MQTT industrial automation gateway Tentacle, which allows for data to be polled from industrial controllers via Ethernet/IP, Modbus/TCP or OPC UA and delivered to an MQTT broker or a web-based front end using GraphQL. Tentacle also has an optional front end that's high performance thanks to Nuxt.js and looks great due to Vuetify.js.

We have big plans for other projects, including some to make utilizing containers super easy.
