I developed and operate the Rubyland News aggregator because I saw a need for building ruby community by aggregating news, opinion, and tutorials from ruby developers, maintainers, and involved companies.

Rubyland News is not intended to be a profit-making endeavor. It has no paid content placement; any decisions of what feeds to include are based wholly on my editorial judgement and not on any partnerships or sponsorship.

But operating Rubyland news does have some modest operating costs (I host on heroku for convenience), and takes some time here and there. I don't do it for profit, but it would be really nice to have some support from the community so it doesn't cost me money to provide this community service.
