I'm a PhD student by day and a Julia programmer also by day - at nights I'm busy trying to get my twin daughters to sleep. My primary work is in computational biology and I take pride in the open-source code that I develop there. I'm a member of the JuliaDiffEq organisation where my largest contributions regard to chemical reaction modelling. However, my largest impact to the open-source community comes from the development and maintenance of utilities, most notably Latexify.jl. These are also the kind of projects that would most benefit from sponsoring as they do not fit into my job description and thus come at a personal cost for me.
