Hey👋 I'm Mudit from India. I'm a second-year student studying computer science and engineering.

I got to know about open source in my freshmen year of college. Before college, I did not have any exposure to computer science or programming. When I got to know about Git and GitHub I was very excited. I created an account on GitHub asap and learned about Git and GitHub as much as possible. I felt like I have joined a developer's social media platform.

I was exploring Github when my fellow batchmates were busy writing the college assignments. There are many students in my batch who don't know about GitHub at all. Even in my friend circle, there were people who didn't know about GitHub and open source.

I saw this as an opportunity and wrote two articles on how to use Git and GitHub, and how to get started with open source. I also conducted a live workshop to help the community more and teach them about open source.

I want to learn and contribute to open source projects more. I also want to share my knowledge with the community so that more and more people get into open source.
