Hi 👋 !

I'm roscopeco, the founder and project lead on the rosco_m68k, an open-source Motorola 68000-based retro-style computer, as well as the rosco_6502 and all kinds of associated hardware and software.

We're a small team of enthusiasts, and developing physical hardware and the software that goes with it is expensive 💸 - all sponsorships are reinvested directly in the project, for things like:

  • Researching new chips and components we can use to create new retro products
  • Getting prototype boards made and shipped out to the core team for development
  • Day-to-day running of the project: discord subscriptions, website hosting, etc
  • Ensuring we are sufficiently caffeinated for multi-day hacks

We also sell kits and boards, so if you don't want to sponsor but would still like to support the project, come along and buy something - we'd really appreciate your help 🙂
