My name is Sam, and I write open source software.
My main focus is always on robustness - making sure software is well tested, reliable, and follows established conventions. If believe that if a feature isn't tested, it should be considered broken. If a feature has no documentation, it should be considered non-existant.
My background is in Science, specifically the life sciences, and a lot of my more developed software is from this world - though not all. I tend to focus on libraries in open source work, though there are some web applications too.
