Who am I?
Hello! My name is Erik Guzman or on Twitch you might know me as Talk2MeGooseman. I am a Full-Stack Developer specializing in using Ruby on Rails and ReactJS AKA Web stuff.

What do I do?
When I am not busy doing coding at work. In my spare time, I enjoy streaming on Twitch https://twitch.tv/talk2megooseman where I work on various different technologies and applications that educate and enhance the Twitch experience.

Why ask for patrons/support?
In order to continue to ensure all the extensions I offer stay free, I need your support to help with the cost of hosting current and future extensions. Right now all hosting costs are paid for out of my pocket, roughly $200+ USD a month at the moment. Any and all support I can get to help to reduce the day-to-day hosting costs will go a long way in ensuring I can continue to offer all my services for free to everyone.

This is the new Stream Closed Captioner goal that I dream of meeting. Stream Closed Captioner has seen some tremendous growth, and now that it is written in Elixir, I have offered much more features than before. Stream CC currently serves 2.3k weekly active users and delivers captions to 15k+ viewers daily. Most Stream CC hosting costs come from system memory to support those beautiful caption subscriptions. I love offering Stream CC for free, and if this goal were to be met, that would be amazing for myself and anyone that uses Stream CC.

This would basically cover over half of the current server costs. Stream Closed Captioner has seen some amazing growth with serving about 900+ people daily. With more viewers consuming captions, it requires more system memory to support all those wonderful connections.
