thanks for your interest in sse-breaker and sorry for my late replay. I can release to maven central in the next couple of days. Would that be helpful?

BTW which version of Scala and Java are you using? Currently sse-breaker is build using Scala 2.10.x and Java 7.

Just out of curiosity, since you are using Play which includes Akka why you want to use sse-breaker instead of the circuit breaker included in Akka?

Your implementation is easier to understand

I have made the required changes so that sse-breaker can be used with Future based APIs (like those found in Play) and I have also updated the documentation. Have a look at the updates and I'll try to publish to maven central by Monday.
