As promised to @drieseng on another thread, here is a proposal for the SSH.NET Logo :)

SS-NET

Love (LOVE!) the design, just not sure yet about the green color (of SSH.NET itself). Give it some time to let it grow on me.

I can change the colors :)

@darinkes @olegkap @darkoperator What's your preference? (please ignore the image quality of my proposals)

I have been following this repo with interest. I like the last one by @scott-xu with the consistent blue for the arrow and writing. Less noisy with the consistent colour.

Up to now, I prefer my last proposal (.NET blue). @scott-xu's (nice to see you here!) proposal is nice too. @Filini, what do you think?

I actually like all of them (Visual Studio purple, .NET blue, @scott-xu blue), but color preference is a really personal matter :-)
I'll make some renderings with all the color combos, for a better comparison.

In no particular order. After a while, my favorite is "VS Purple (Mixed)", but it's really a personal choice, feel free to pick/vote whatever you like.

@Filini:
Unless someone has strong objections, I say we go for VS Purple (Mixed).
Can you prepare the logo in different formats and variants ?

Thx! (x 1000)

Not sure if it worth mentioning but if the phone is in night light mode, the dark color is harder to draw attention.

Sorry for the late reply, I was on holiday for 3 weeks, and I totally disconnected.
@drieseng if you want I can try a lighter version of "VS Purple (Mixed)" to check against dark backgrounds. Let me know if you want to do this test, or if you're just ok with "VS Purple (Mixed)".
I will create all the files with the "VS Purple (Mixed)", and also a white variant for dark backgrounds.
Where should I put the files? Do you already have a folder for these resources on the repo?

I have the white and colored files ready. Where shall I put them?

I propose you submit a PR to add them to an images folder.
I should try to find more time to work on a small (doc) site.
Thanks again!

I have created a feature/logo branch, but I'm not authorized to commit

Any news on this? I'm not authorized to push my logos branch.

You can create a pull request that asks for the changes in your branch to be merged into our develop branch.
Are you sure you've already pushed that branch? I don't see a fork in your GitHub profile.
Alternatively, you can e-mail the files to me.

The problem is that when I try to push I get this authorization error:

C:\github\SSH.NET>git push --set-upstream origin feature/logo
remote: Permission to sshnet/SSH.NET.git denied to Filini.
fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/sshnet/SSH.NET.git/': The requested URL returned error: 403

You should first fork the SSH.NET repo.
You can find write-up of the steps to follow here.

My bad, I forgot to fork when creating my original branch.
I created the PR

@Filini Would it be possible to provide a 1280×640 png with a 40px border? Thx!
