Overview
This PR covers the work required to migrate the project over to TypeScript. There should be 100% feature parity between the existing project and the migrated version. In addition to the TypeScript migration, the tests were switched over from mocha to jest and testing-library. Lastly, Prettier was added to the project for our linting needs.
