This is not a discussion for Stalwart in particular, but somewhat related, perhaps if one day it offers a (web)mail client or decides to contribute to an existing one to make it better. Up until Thunderbird 52.9.1 I was able to use a great addon called Virtual Identity. Due to Thunderbird changes, the addon stopped supporting newer versions in any useful way. What was so great about it? I use multiple domains with catchall enabled (for better or worse) and make up addresses on the fly. I want the email client to automatically select the correct email to reply from based on various headers in an incoming email ( I would love for a webmail solution to implement it the same way (and also let me type in the From field). Why webmail? Because it would make it behave the same across devices, mobile devices via a mobile browser at least, etc. While Thunderbird was great, it was not always ideal to reply only from my desktop/laptop, there wasn't something similar for mobile devices. Such a client would complement Stalwart very well, for an end to end powerful solution. Is anyone aware of any work being done in web clients to make something like this possible or how are you dealing with catch-all and replies? |

Thank you for the suggestion! Once a webmail is implemented we'll certainly take this into consideration. |
