First of all thank you very much for further developing this flavor of sequencers! Seq42 seems as awesome as Seq24 while going in it's own cool direction.
I am new to Linux and to these sequencers but I managed to build Seq42 this afternoon. Now I have some questions:
I couldn't figure out how to install LASH. What am I missing out on here? What functionality would it provide?
The sequence list seems to be nearly the same as the default Seq24 8x4 view, but without the benefit of triggering/queueing the sequences with the keyboard. Since there is a dedicated Live Mode, I am a bit puzzled. Wouldn't it be great to have a Seq24-like Live Mode but where you could switch from a point in the song to Live Mode with keyboard control? So that the current sequences keep playing but you could kind of switch to Seq24 Live Mode and remix/improvise on the spot? And then maybe even go back to Song Mode, so the rest of the song would play...
Maybe I am missing something here which leads to my last question:
Is there a specific Seq42 manual?
I know you are keeping this project alive and it seems to be a "labor of love", so please don't take the last two questions as overly demanding. :)
I think this will become one of my favorite sequencers. Cheers!
