Lua 5.1

Hello there!

Lua 5.1 seems to work fine, is there a reason it isn't supported? I'm using it with LuaJIT if that makes any difference.

Hi,

it is unofficially supported thanks to another developer that added the luacompat module.

It is not officially supported, though, because I personally don't want to commit to support versions earlier
than 5.3 (let alone forks like LuaJIT) should something break.
