The AppID auth method[1] has been deprecated since Vault 0.6.1 and was finally removed in Vault 1.12.0.

The corresponding methods are deprecated since Connector 0.4 and yet marked as deprecated with no plans to remove them.

With the auth backend no longer being supported in the target system, is is time for us to take the route to remove, too.
