Hey there,

since the new macOS Sierra dev rev. Is out, chitchat has some bugs with read receipts and emojis.
So no receipts at all will be shown. Also there is no way to see the emoji icons at all, except in chat.

Maybe you can fix this in a new build as soon as you've got the dev preview :)
