@jeddy3: Before we merge, can you please explain why you see this as a breaking change? It seems at face value like a bug fix, and I didn't find more explanation in the original PR.

Added to v8 changelog:

  • Changed: function-linear-gradient-no-nonstandard-direction now checks all linear-gradients in a value list (#2496).
