Line Profiler

Line profiler’s purpose is to evaluate datasets in a biological/biophysical context. The software recognizes line shaped structures in image data and computes their mean position and orientation with sub-pixel accuracy. For each line a mean intensity profile is calculated. Utilising the whole image the software prevents biases, caused by preselecting data subsets.

Installation

An executable can be found on zenodo.
If this doesn't work for you:

  1. Clone git repository
  2. Open cmd and cd to repository
  3. Install requirements with:
pip install -r requirements.txt
  1. cd to src
  2. Run Line Profiler with:
python main.py
