After a while ambient display stops working #91

After my phone sitting for a while the ambient display will stop working.

Seems to occur overnight wile the phone is charging.

Stock May 8.1 on pixel 2 xl

v1.0.0_146

Possible started to notice around build _130 but cannot be sure.

Unable to get logcat due to unable to determine exactly when it occurs and log would be too large.

I have updated to the latest _148 to see if issue occurs even though there is no report of the issue.
