Possibility to have all the elements positioned and resized (to similar scale and preserving their aspect ratio) in a div, using divs height and width.

Please add the possibility to have all the elements positioned and resized (to similar scale and preserving their aspect ratio) in a div, using divs height and width. The resized elements should have similar scale.
This should be like an overview of all the pictures in the galery. Please answer even if there is such a solution and I just could not find.
