The issue requesting the clarification from the AsyncAPI specification authors has been created: asyncapi/spec#674
After we have clarification, we need to properly describe what needs to be done in this issue description.

This is very closely related to OpenApi 3.1: URL resolving.

The clarification landed in spec as editorial change: asyncapi/spec#782

Result: only absolute URLs are allowed, which means no resolution happens.
