  • Sway Version:
sway version 1.10-dev-d6150b6b (Feb 21 2024, branch 'master')
wlroots version commit 0d9ffef7 (branch master)

  • Debug Log:
    sway-debug-verbose-GmjQjArI.txt

  • Configuration File:
No config, using the default one.
    No env var.

  • Description:
I'm playing Live For Speed with the stable version of sway (1.8.1) and the game is working perfectly and very fast. (60 FPS)
But when I use the master version of sway (-git version). Then the game is very slow, (3 fps). This problem dsn't only happen on Live For Speed game but on different games.

@emersion alright thanks, so as it seems that it's a mesa bug right? There's already a issue to track this ?

It's an Xwayland issue, and the patch has been merged there, but not released yet.
