Who is Sysrev for?

Sysrev was originally created to reduce cost and time to market for clinical trial planning. Almost all trial strategies start with a systematic review of existing literature, which requires identifying relevant literature and extracting of information through tagging specific information from the literature and analyzing metrics from the tagging. Sysrev was designed to make this process more collaborative, more efficient, and more accurate.

Since then, interest in Sysrev has expanded to a variety of different researchers, such as:

• Academic research institutions
• Government agencies
• Consulting firms (especially environmental and toxicological firms)
• Graduate students have used it as a tool for identifying relevant research on their thesis topics
• Special interest groups, general education

Sysrev development is ongoing, aiming to provide the tools to facilitate the variety of audiences currently using it.
