Hello,
I use visicut with my K40 lasercutter on a raspberry pi3b from 1year and all is ok but after updates i have this message and i can't rollback

Can you help me ?

I have try different java (openjdk , AdoptOpenJDK) different version same message
and now i have try from scratch, fresh install, same message.

Maybe a permission problem? Can you try running visicut with sudo (backup your .visicut folder first)

well, could you reproduce the issue, make the suggested code changes (maybe with try/catch) and verify, that it fixes the issue?

Sorry i'm not java developper, i just see some poste about this problem for other project.
For me i jus run k40_whisperer.py before run Visicut and i have the message "Device detached from ch341 linux driver" and is ok for run visicut without message "LibUsbException: USB error 6: Could not claim the interface.: Resource busy".

maybe it's time to become a java developer ;). Just follow https://github.com/t-oster/VisiCut/wiki/Development:-Getting-started in order to set up NetBeans and you're good to go. For me it's impossible to test without the hardware.
