Hi Tal, firstly thank you for creating such a brilliant alternative to the limited click included with PT.

Firstly, I must point out that if you have negative bar numbers in a session, TICK does not play ball until you get to bar one. Negative bar numbers are useful for count-offs etc, and to make sure your session and the song match bar numbers with a score.

Secondly, automation beyond the filter, gain and bypass would also be incredibly useful. I understand that time sig changes etc could be handled by using multiple instances of TICK, but to have it all in one plugin would be great.

Keep up the good work, it is a fantastic plugin!

Many thanks,

Mark

Hi,
Sorry for the late response. Thank you for the feedback.

I'll look into that, sadly I've reported already to the JUCE framework about several issues related to AAX.
(also the beat resolution isn't handled currently).

Secondly, automation beyond the filter, gain and bypass would also be incredibly useful.

That's already available.

The reason I don't understand the need for BPM/Signature automation is that TICK has 2 modes:

  • Internal (without automation)
  • External (host)

When working with a DAW, you'd actually want true tempo-sync so instead of automating TICK, it's better to make the host automation of time signature and tempo.
