"R" for resetting the timer. "SPACEBAR" for pausing your current timer, in case you have emergency. "ENTER" for resuming or starting the timer.

If you're using android device or any kind of touch device then you can play or pause the pomodoro timer by tapping on the timer, one tap for play another one for pause.
