Summary

On GPGX's SMS core, enabling the SMS BIOS only launches the BIOS and does not launch the game after the startup sequence. This also affects upstream GPGX.

Repro

  1. Load any SMS ROM on the GPGX core
  2. Load the BIOS in the settings
  3. Restart the core

Host env.

  • BizHawk dev build at 9dcb843; Win10 Home 22H2
