As of yesterday, chrome started to use up 100% of my processors when I started
it. Closing tabs didn't change anything, even with the only tab open being the
tab chooser the processors were completely busy.
Experimenting around, I noticed that it all stopped when I closed the IBA
opt-out plugin. Whenever I restarted it, the processor went completely busy,
again.
Chrome version: 21.0.1180.79
Win 7 x64
IBA opt-out v. 1.2

This is a duplicate report of
http://code.google.com/p/google-opt-out-plugin/issues/detail?id=22
which was just fixed. Upgrade to IBA Opt-out version 1.3
