Not very pretty...no word wrap, not easy to read for a "primer." Glad you found it but I hope someone can make it approachable (and update the link).

yea..it is just a dump from the old TDWG twiki, must have looked much nicer when the twiki was still there.

Can you fix the link (for now, at least, until someone has the time/energy/initiative to fix the format) on the https://github.com/tdwg/sdd page? I'm not sure who has access to the readme file.
