I tested rabu (release-0.1.4) on a german windows xp system.

While my estimates.rabu file is utf-8 encoded and contains a german umlaut like ä, ö ,ü the produced .html file is detected as ISO-8859-1 encoded by chrome.

As a result the umlaut is displayed as something like "ü". If I switch the browser encoding to utf-8 it works fine.

Nice catch. I probably won't fix this in the 0.2 release, but it will be top of the list after that.

This fix may not work with Ruby 1.9. A proper fix will have to wait for the Java CLI rewrite.
