That could also solve #27 and #284 (possibly a lot more)

Maybe Google's Noto Sans could help in this issue, but that could also make the app increase its size significantly.

Noto Sans looks almost identical at 12px/13px. I hope something like that fixes non-ASCII character issues, otherwise it might be Qt or something else causing this issue (as suggested in #284).
