Bug report

Reproduction of the problem

Dropdownlist won't group items if you set 0 as grouping criteria. The behavior could be observed in this Dojo demo: https://dojo.telerik.com/enukUMeC/12.

Also, in a scenario with remote data binding and virtualization enabled, upon scroll-down, the sorted and grouped data is completely messed-up. The drop-down also displays unneeded separators.

Current behavior

Doesn't set 0 on the top-right corner of the dropdown.

Expected/desired behavior

Should display 0 on the top-right corner as grouping criteria in the dropdown.

Environment

  • Kendo UI version: 2019.1.220
  • Browser: [all |
