Hinting stops after writing facebook message

In a normal facebook tab after I write (and send) a message to someone ctrl + f stops hinting.

Ok, sorry for the brief description. Facebook chat responds before vimari responds. I.e. after you send a message Vimari is expecting me to press esc, followed by ctrl+f to start hinting again. Meaning that first Facebook will intercept my esc, closing my chat tab, followed by vimari catching my esc. So if I want to do anything in Facebook (after I chat) I need to close the chat tab and press esc again.

It would be nice to have an option (in the preferences menu) where vimari could intercept the keys before the page does, or have ctrl + j mapped as global esc.
