Set up the Notification Hub

This guide will show you how to set up a notification hub in Microsoft Azure. Important: This guide assumes that you have an Azure account!

1. Log on to your Azure account
2. Click on the New button, select Web + Mobile and click on Notification Hub
3. Add a name, namespace, your preferred location, a resource group (name it the same as the name of the hub) and click on create
4. Now you need to wait until your Notification Hub is created. Your notification hub is now set up and you can proceed to create the android app to get notified.
