Book type and status being reset when exiting #416

This sounds like it might be related to the Yew bug for which we hoped a workaround would become available after upgrade to v0.19. Implementing the workaround is a priority. I don't experience the same issue when looking at that book - it consistently shows up as "edited book" / "active" when I've viewed it - so hopefully the database values are correct at least. |
@CameronOBP just reported seeing the same thing for all the books he checked, i.e. all are displayed as "Recalled" (on Safari on a Mac). In a different browser on the same Mac (Brave, a Chrome variant) the display was correct (he checked one book which was "Forthcoming" - I confirmed this was the database value and displayed as such in Firefox on Linux). He notes North American users are more likely to be on Macs, so more likely to hit this. Didn't realise from the original report that the erroneous behaviour is so consistent! |
Not sure if here is the best space to record those, but James Rice/WHP has reported another display issue w. discrepancy between recorded data, and data displayed when opening the Edit view ... He writes:

Describe the bug
Reported by James at White Horse Press via email:
I noticed that when navigating away from my test book and then going back to it, it sets the type to “book set” and the status to “recalled” even though I previously set it to “edited book” / “active”. This happens even after I click “save”. Is this as expected?
It seems to happen every time I try it. See attached a screen recording to illustrate. I also tried logging out just after saving, instead of navigating away; and then logging in again; and got the same result.
