I'm trying to calibrate the touchscreen of an HP Pavilion TX1000 with the stylus. When the calibration values are applied (via xinput set-prop), the touchscreen remains inaccurate, and notably, the proportions seem to be wrong.
I'd be happy to supply more details in order to help you iron this out.
Thanks!

I experience something similar. Apparently, the Xinput part of xinput_calibrator uses the current calibration values instead of the valuator min/max values. As a result, through multiple runs of xinput_calibrator, the calibration error can accumulate to the point of making the touchscreen unusable.
With a touchscreen where one of the coords must pre-inverted, running xinput_calibrator removes the coordinate inversion and I need to run xinput_calibrator twice.
