please make the server and backend open source, and share what protocol for encryption you are using. we would be able to trust tice more then.

Hi @gamerseye123, we absolutely agree with you.
We decided to open-source the TICE app in three stages. At first we published the crypto layer containing the libraries we use to secure the communication (X3DH for the initial handshake and Double Ratchet for the encryption).
After that we open-sourced the mobile clients for Android and iOS.
Now what's left is the backend. There is still some work to do but we're on it.
