It would be great to be able to disable the automatic update check. I can not find any way to do that.

Loading

in MCECtonrol.settings, change

 <DisableUpdatePopup>false</DisableUpdatePopup>

to

<DisableUpdatePopup>true</DisableUpdatePopup>
