If you get onto the high score table in 1.8.2CE, that score is duplicated in the table.

The .txt file for high scores contains two entries for the score: one at the bottom of the file (my understanding is this is for the most recent playthrough) and one in position in the table.

The duplicate entry seems to persist even if you start and complete a new game (the .txt file is as above).

I installed 1.8.2CE over the top of an existing 1.8.1CE install, so that may be the issue?

Hmm, I can't seem to reproduce this. This is very likely an edge-case bug that existed in vanilla Brogue too. Is your high-score list full?

Yes it is, and it was full before I played this most recent game.

I'm happy to chalk it up to "that's a weird one that only occurs rarely", but I reported it because it happened to me on my first 1.8.2 game that got me onto the high score table. I'll see what happens if I can get onto the table again.

OK, I've managed to replicate it. If I record the playthrough, then watch the playthrough all the way to the end (skipping levels using '>' is OK), it seems to record another score to the high score table with a different timestamp, so both get kept in the table. I've now got two duplicate pairs.
