can M2 mac mini(not M2 pro) handle single 4k 144hz ? #83
Comments
I haven’t tried and we only have one report (MacBook Air M2), but I imagine it should work. Why would they go back? |
thanks for replying, i've test 4k144hz on base m2 mac mini by just bought one, a Chinese brand TITAN ARMY monitor, it works, on a USB4 extension dock, the kind without dedicated power to plug in. So this 60hz limit Apple's senior tech support told me is definately wrong, also the same saying from a reddit user, since video output limit is supposed to be (resolution X refresh rate). |
so i'm gonna assume LG UltraGear 27GN950-B also will work |
Probably. I’m using it on M1 Pro and it works fine |
@tonsky does your hz work fine? when i turn on 144hz on 2k/4k using like betterdisplay everything turns blurry, currently on LG UltraGear 27GP95R 4k144hz. |
damn, i love Fira Code, you're the author |
i saw LG UltraGear 27GN950-B can work on m1 mac mini on this repo's page, but what about M2.
coz i've seen so many people saying its not possible to have >60hz on a base m2 mac mini on reddit for example:
