We could specify a method:

Base.ifelse(cond::Node{Bool}, x::Node, y::Node) -> Node

which outputs knots from x when cond is true, or y otherwise. Usual alignment semantics would apply.

To consider: is using the Base.ifelse function a good idea? Maybe a different function name would be desirable.
