https://github.com/vaendryl/Sunrider has currently no license information but there is a version in the history that has an open source compatible version

Recommended to contact the authors if possible.

https://opensource.stackexchange.com/questions/1475/is-a-license-bound-to-a-commit seems to suggest that you could potentially going back and use the old version of the code under the old license.

The last commit under an open license (CC) was 74796078 from 2/19/2915, but apparently the artwork was not included in the repository anyway and on the webpage versions of Sunrider are sold. This indicates that this game/visual novel is rather more closed than open.
