HomematicIP HmIP-SWD doesn't connect #15
Comments
Hi Reinhard, can you give some more details? Is that the first device you are connecting? Have you been able to connect it, but it doesn't work? Does the app crash? |
Hi Timo,
thanks for the reply, I'm using a Homematic IP Wassersensor - 151694A0
<https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07CF567ZK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1>
and
have a HM-CFG-LAN adapter, however, I wasn't able to connect the
HomematicIP to the HM-CFG-LAN (confirmed by EQ3, doesn't work).
Meanwhile I suspect, that I need a CCU2/CCU3 to connect to Homematic*IP*
devices, as you state in your doc.
I was just wondering, why the Homey can't connect directly to the
Homematic/HomematicIP ecosystem, I mean, that's the USP they are making
(having various RF technologies within their device).
Thanks,
Reinhard

Do get error messages you would need to run the app manually using the
athom-cli on your PC.

For Homematic IP the Homey will never be able to connect directly to the devices. There is a hardware key required. If you don't want to get the CCU3 then you can also use the official module for the Raspberry Pi and use RaspberryMatic. That works just fine. |
hi timo, I got myself the rapberrymatic with the ccu2 module now, does show the device when trying to add one, but then does say "no new devices". any logfiles to send ? where would I find them? thanks! |
Did you get this fixed? |
I have the same issue, most recent firmwares of Homey Pro, Raspberry Matic, RedMatic, Mosquitto enabled and configured according to the WIKI. I have a Homematic IP installation with approx. 12 devices. |
So you are not able to add any devices? |
Correct, it does show the CCU (but seems to have found the Hue hub IP), if I click next, the system states "no devices found" |
Would you be able to add some debug nodes in the Node Red flow to see if any data is being received? |
Hi Timo, don't know whether you are interested in such things, but I recently got a homey and tried to connect a HmIP-SWD, but no success. Is there any log I could assess? I'm a little familiar with software... Thanks. Reinhard
