System monitor widgets in panel are smaller than expected and lack detail #1186

Describe the bug

After a recent update, my system monitoring widgets including:

  • Individual Core Usage
  • Network Speed

have been removed of almost all detail until I hover over them. The panel they're in are pretty wide and is aligned to the right side of the monitor.

Current appearance of the widgets

Previous appearance of the widgets

I can show you what it looked like before because sometimes when dragging in a new widget into a new panel, the widget appears the way it should. But it quickly returns to the above image.

I couldn't get the Individual Core Usage to work properly this time.

What did you expect to happen?

In the past I would see labels describing what the lines in the Network Speed widget meant; the Individual Core Usage monitor would be larger and it would be clear which CPU core was working more than others.

Extra information or context

I believe a recent update to KDE Plasma has something to do with this, but I am not sure what was updated recently.
